A Martin teen has been arrested after a string of car break-ins on Tuesday.
Martin Police began receiving multiple reports of vehicle burglaries starting at 1:10 Tuesday morning. The burglaries were in the middle and south portions of the city.
At 8:25 police received a call that a suspicious person was spotted in the area of Jackson Street checking car doors. Multiple officers responded and detained 18-year-old Dalton Davis.
Stolen items from earlier reports were found on Davis after a search. A juvenile who participated in the vehicle burglaries was also taken into custody.
Davis has been charged with several counts of burglary from a motor vehicle. The juvenile has also been charged with burglary.
