UT Martin has reported a ten percent increase in enrollment for the spring semester.
This is the highest spring enrollment for the University since 2013, with 7,092 students.

That number includes 6,400 undergraduate students and 692 graduate students.
There was also an increase in transfer students with 178 coming to UT Martin, a 21 percent increase from last year.

Persistence, which is the percentage of students enrolled in fall 2025 who returned to campus this spring, was 92 percent. Director of Retention Brad Baumgardner spoke about the student retention at UTM’s winter advisory board meeting.

Assistant Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Destin Tucker says the University is already planning on another increase of enrollment in the fall.

UT Martin has regional centers in Jackson, Parsons, Ripley, Selmer, Somerville and Springfield.
