A Union City man was arrested on charges from both Obion County and Fulton County.
Union City police reports said 29 year old Lynn Bell Jr. was arrested in Union City on prior knowledge of an active warrant in Obion County.
Bell was taken into custody on a failure to appear warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm, after leaving a business on East Reelfoot Avenue.
A search of Bell revealed a Taurus .9-milimeter handgun in his front pocket.
A National Crime Information Check also showed Bell having an active warrant in Fulton County for two Class-D felony charges of receiving a stolen firearm and using restricted ammunition during the commission of a crime.
Bell was taken to the Obion County Jail on charges of driving on a suspended license and unlawful possession of a firearm, along with a warrant for a crime in another state.
