A fire destroyed the home of Brad and Monica White at 1070 Pair Road just outside of Martin Sunday afternoon.
Fire Chief Jamie Summers said the call came in at 3:25pm as home was on fire that may have been caused by an electrical issue.
Chief Summers said all family members were able to get out of the home as it burned through the roof.
Sixteen combined members of Dresden and Sharon fire fighters assisted with mutual help for the Martin Fire Fighters.
While the home was destroyed Chief Summers tells us that the family cat used one of its nine lives.
Martin Fire fighters will be on the scene for a walk though today to help determine the cause of the home fire.
