Former St. Louis Cardinals player and team broadcaster Jim Edmonds said he is done.
In a recent radio interview with 101 ESPN, Edmonds pulled no punches in talking about the current Cardinals organization.
Edmonds said the inner circle is not the same organization and not fun to be around.
During the interview, the former All-Star centerfielder, Cardinals Hall of Famer, and color commentator, said everyone knows that “no one cares from all the way to the top to the bottom”.
Edmonds said baseball had become to rushed, and Chip Caray could do the games by himself if needed.
Edmonds said he does not expect to be back with the Cardinals, saying he did not want to be around the stadium signing autographs the rest of his life.
He said his time now will be with his family and as a dad.
