The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department says Bells Elementary has been put on a soft lockdown this morning after the school received a threatening call.
The school received a call at 9 indicating a threat would occur in an hour. Bells Police along with the Crockett County Sheriff Department and Department of Homeland Security have responded to begin an investigation.
The school will remain on a soft lockdown for the remainder of the day.
