The Westview Cheerleaders will be leaving next week to compete in the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championships along with the cheerleading Worlds competition.
The team will be leaving for Orlando, Florida next week on Wednesday and will compete on Saturday and Sunday.
The Chargers place third last season in the UCA competition and took home first at Worlds.
Christy Dane, who was a part of the first Westview team to go to nationals in 1991, credits the team’s success to the girl’s work ethic and drive.
