The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the Ken-Tenn area until this evening.
Weather Service officials say rainfall amounts could be between 2-to-4 inches.
The heavy rainfall could cause flooding to rivers, creeks and streams, along with low lying areas and flood prone locations.
Motorists are reminded to never drive through flooded areas.
