The Tennessee Legislature has begun its special session to take up a controversial $447 million statewide school choice voucher program along with other legislation.

Senior Pastor of Central Baptist in Martin, Kylan Mann told Thunderbolt Radio his stance on the school voucher bill. Central Baptist supports Weakley County’s only private school, Central Christian Academy.

Pastor Mann says that a lot of false information about the vouchers is being spread and went on to explain more aspects of the bill.

Mr. Mann says that Central Christian Academy is not through the accreditation process required to accept vouchers yet and it would probably be a year before the school was approved.
