Jackson police say a 17 year old boy has been charged with the shooting death of a 15 year old female, who was pregnant.
Police reports said officers responded Saturday to the 100 block of Hardee Street regarding a pregnant female who had been shot.
Officers discovered the body of the teenage female on the bed of the 17 year old.
The boy initially claimed the female shot herself while playing with the gun, however he later recanted and admitted to the shooting.
The boy was charged with two counts of second-degree murder in Madison County Juvenile Court.
Police reports said the female was pregnant with the 17 year olds child.
