Weakley County Mayor Dale Hutcherson gave a statement regarding the school choice bill during the County Commission meeting this week.
The school voucher bill would allow state tax money to go towards scholarships for children to attend private schools.
Governor Bill Lee is holding a special session on Monday where the Tennessee legislature will review the bill along with others.
