Jackson police say an assaulted restaurant employee is now charged with murder.
22 year old Harrison Cobb was charged with first degree murder.
Police reports said a group of subjects entered Slim Chickens Restaurant on Tuesday night, and approached Cobb in the kitchen area.
When the group of individuals began to physically assault Cobb, he retrieved a handgun and began firing shots.
One male subject, 32 year old Andretti Siddell, sustained injuries that left him immobile but alive.
After several moments, police say Cobb continued to fire shots at the unarmed Siddell, who died as a result of his injuries.
Two other individuals also received non-life threatening injuries during the incident.
Jackson police say the entire incident was captured on video, with the investigation ongoing.
Cobb will face arraignment on the charges today in Jackson City Court.
