Governor Bill Lee and the Department of Economic and Community Development have announced 36 recipients throughout Tennessee receiving $7.4 million in funding through the infrastructure planning grant (IPG).
Cities receiving the funding include Dresden and Sharon. The IPG assists communities and utility districts with long-term planning for water and sewer systems.
Dresden will be receiving $357,500 in funding and Sharon will receive $210,000.
