A local Union City pastor said everyone should take time today to remember the work and sacrifice of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Bro. Curtis McLendon, who served over 20 years as pastor at Emmanuel Church of God in Christ in Lake County, said Dr. King gave his life in service to the betterment of all people.(AUDIO)
Bro. McLendon said it was hard to think where the nation would be today without his teaching and sacrifice.(AUDIO)
Bro. McLendon said if area residents are not able to attend any of the services in honor of Dr. King, he asked that all offer prayers of peace in his memory.
