A residential fire occurred in Dresden leading to the total loss of a home.
The Dresden Fire Department along with the Gleason Fire Department responded to a fire at 354 Etheridge Street at around 12:30 on Monday. Upon arrival they found the house engulfed.
Fire Chief Paul Hutcherson said they believe the fire was started by an unattended generator inside the house as the house was disconnected from water and power.
The fire re-kindled at 5:30 on Tuesday morning and the Dresden Fire Department responded to the scene again.
No injuries were reported.
