The former President of the Mayfield/Graves County Chamber of Commerce has plead guilty to felony theft.
Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman announced that 48 year old Allison Morris issued the plea in Graves County Circuit Court.
Ms. Morris plead guilty to one count of Class-C felony theft by unlawful taking or disposition, greater than $10,000 and less than one million dollars.
She will now pay $20,000 in restitution to the Chamber of Commerce and receive a five-year sentence.
According to court documents, Ms. Morris admitted to stealing funds from the Chamber between May of 2021 and February of 2024 to pay for personal expenses.
She will be sentenced on the charge on April 22nd.
