Tennessee State of Emergency – Closings

Governor Bill Lee issued a State of Emergency due to the snow and freezing temps.  TEMA continues to work with local, regional, and state partners to support readiness actions and any requests for resources.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) pre-treated interstates and state routes helping to move travel.

All  95 counties school systems is out today. That includes Dyersburg State, T-CAT and UT Martin..all  are out today.

Among the closings we have received are :

SBD (Stanley Black and Decker)  will be shutting down 1st and 2nd shift operations on Friday Jan 10th. For those that feel they can make it to work safely and work in the following departments we will have work available on 1st shift only in the Press Room, Press Brake & Laser, Materials, Distribution Centers, Tool Room and Maintenance departments. 2nd shift will have work available for Tool Room and Maintenance Only.

If a team member works on Friday, you are asked to park in the Front Office Parking Lot so SBD can clean the main parking lot to prepare for Monday’s return.

SBD will return all shifts and all departments to normal schedules Monday Jan 13th.

Parker Hannifin is closed today and back to normal operations Sunday night 3rd shift.

FCTA   will run only life –sustaining trips. These trips include Dialysis, cancer treatments and wound care.

Northwest Tennessee Public Transportation is not running vans today.

Martin City Hall
Obion County Courthouse
Union City City Hall
Greenfield City Hall
Bradford City Hall
Fulton County Courthouse
Consolidated Grain & Barge in Hickman
Security Bank & Trust

Weakley County Municipal Electric System will be open abbreviated hours Friday, 9am-3pm.
