A UT Martin professor of natural resources and management has earned a top national award in his field.
Dr. Philip Smartt was announced as the winner of the 2024 Fellow Award at the National Association for Interpretation’s annual conference.
The Fellow Award is the highest honor given by the association and is only given to one member per year.
Dr. Smartt has been a member of the NAI for 30 years and has served on the board and as a director of certain areas of the college and university section.
