Arrest warrants were issued for a Union City man after he led police on a dangerous pursuit.

Union City police reports said warrants were obtained for 47 year old Sidoles Lubin, who was able to escape after police discontinued their pursuit due to safety reasons.

Following an initial attempt to initiate a traffic stop, Lubin led police down several city streets, where he disregarded stop signs at the intersections of Church and Miles, along with Miles and Nailing Drive.

Police said just before the intersection of Nailing Drive and Bethlehem Road, Lubin passed a tractor trailer truck on a double yellow line at speeds of over 100 miles per hour.

When discontinuing the pursuit, police reports said Lubin continued out of the city on Nailing Drive at a high rate of speed.
