The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for West Tennessee.
The watch will go into effect on Thursday night at 9:00 and remain in place until 6:00 on Saturday morning.
Forecasters say the counties of Lake, Obion, Weakley, Henry, Dyer, Gibson and Carroll could see accumulations of three-to-five inches of snowfall during the watch period.
Roadways, bridges and overpasses will become slick and hazardous, which will make for dangerous morning and evening commutes on Friday.
