One From Union City, One From Wingo, Arrested in Graves County Burglary

Two people, including one from Union City, were arrested for a burglary in progress in Graves County.

Sheriff’s reports said 37 year old Andrew Dailey, of Union City, and 55 year old David Carter, of Wingo, were issued charges after deputies arrived at a possible burglary on KY Highway 339 West near Wingo.

Deputies working the midnight shift arrived to find a pickup truck parked at the location of an unoccupied home with outbuildings.

Reports said Dailey was located in the back yard and detained, with items removed from an outbuilding to be loaded into the pickup truck.

Carter was located inside the outbuilding, holding an axe and a flashlight.

Both Dailey and Carter were arrested on charges of burglary, possession of burglary tools, criminal trespass, and criminal mischief.
