Union City police were contacted about a stolen firearm.
Police reports said 32 year old Cameron Powers, of Martin, told officers he was helping someone move at 525 High Street.
Powers said he parked his unlocked truck in the driveway, and was inside the residence for about thirty minutes.
Two days later, Powers said he discovered his pistol missing from its holster in the console.
Police reports said the stolen firearm was a Sig Sauer P-365 .9-milimeter.
The value was listed at $550 dollars.
