In a press release Martin Police were called to shots fired resulting in what police say was road rage on New Year’s Eve.
Chief Phillip Fuqua said officers responded to Burchard and East Hill Streets in Martin where the victim stated a suspect had caused an accident.
The victim began following the other vehicle, when the driver started firing a gun out of the window. Police have identified the driver and an investigation is ongoing. No charges have been filed at this time.
