Dresden Native Remembers Jimmy Carter

Former President Jimmy Carter died on Sunday at the age of 100.

Carter, who was from Plains, Georgia, was the 39th U.S. President and was elected to the presidency in 1976 and served until 1981.

Dresden native and former USDA Rural Development Director Bobby Goode told Thunderbolt Radio about a time he met former president Carter.

Goode described what kind of President Carter was not only to the U.S., but to the world.

A State funeral has been planned for Jimmy Carter next Thursday in Washington D.C.
