Wanted Illinois Man Apprehended in Union City

arrest-4

An Illinois man wanted in Graves County for a home burglary was apprehended in Union City.

Graves County Sheriff’s reports said 40 year old Charles Livvix, of Toledo, Illinois, was taken into custody by officers with the Obion County Sheriff’s Office and Union City Police Department.

On Wednesday, a homeowner of State Route 97 just south of Mayfield called to report he had caught a man inside of his home.

The man, later identified as Livvix, was able to flee from the homeowner.

A photo was taken of the Chevrolet Tahoe vehicle, which gave officers a description and license plate number.

On Thursday, the vehicle was located at Union City’s Walmart store.

Reports said officers waited for Livvix to exit the store, but he ran back into the business and was apprehended following a foot chase.

Livvix was detained and found to be in possession of a large sum of cash and quantity of Fentanyl.

The homeowner identified Livvix as the person inside his home, and an arrest warrant for second degree burglary was being obtained.
