Union City police were dispatched to investigate the theft of a package.
Police reports said an officer arrived at a residence on Westview Drive, where 76 year old Donna Jenkins had a package stolen by a porch pirate.
Ms. Jenkins said she was sitting in her living room, when a white male subject walked up to the porch, took the package and walked away.
Police reports said the contents of the package included a pair of blue jeans and sweater valued at $200.
Police are hoping neighborhood security cameras will help identify the individual responsible for the theft.
