Local school systems will be dismissing on Friday to begin Christmas break.
The Obion County, Weakley County and Lake County School Systems have announced early dismissal of classes.
The Fulton County, Fulton Independent and Hickman County School Systems will also dismiss Friday following a full day of classes.
Fulton Independent and Hickman County schools will return to school on January 6th, with Weakley County, Lake County and Fulton County returning students on January 7th.
The Obion County School System will begin their classes for the New Year on January 8th.
