A passing cold front delivered a large amount of rain and thunderstorms in the Ken-Tenn area overnight.
The National Weather Service had placed most of the area in a Flood Watch, which called for the possibility of up to four inches of rainfall.
Union City Weatherologist Brent Callicott told Thunderbolt News about precipitation totals during the overnight hours.(AUDIO)

The heavy amount of rain has prompted a Flood Warning for the North Fork Obion River near Martin until this evening.
