Two From South Fulton Arrested on Charges in Graves County

Two people from South Fulton were arrested on multiple charges in Graves County.

Graves County Sheriff’s Office reports said during a patrol in the Wingo city limits, s deputy observed a vehicle parked at a closed business on U.S. 45.

The operator of the vehicle, 37 year old Melissa Parrott showed signs of impairment and was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

Located on her person was a concealed quantity of cocaine, with approximately ten grams of methamphetamine found in a vehicle search.

44 year old James Parrott was arrested on a charge of violation of an Emergency Protective Order that was issued between the two in Obion County.

Ms. Parrott was arrested on charges that included driving under the influence, trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of cocaine.
