UT Martin has announced that Memphis Overton High School Principal Dr. Reginald Williams Sr. will be speaking at the commencement ceremonies on Saturday.
Williams is a 1985 graduate of UTM and was elected twice as Student Government Association president. He also earned a masters degree in education from Trevecca University in Nashville and education doctorate degrees from Union University.
Williams has been a high school principal for 19 years and received the District 9 TSSAA Principal of the Year Award in 2022 at Memphis-Shelby County Schools.
The commencement ceremonies will be held at 10 and 2 on the 14th in the Elam Center. Five hundred students are expected to participate in the ceremonies. Tickets are not required to attend.
