Christmas parades continue this weekend in the local area.
On Friday, the Obion Christmas parade will begin at 7:00.
Those who are participating can start lining up at the Fire Department at 6:00.
Following the parade, refreshments and the chance to visit with Santa Claus will take place at the Community Center.
The Fulton/South Fulton Christmas parade will take place Saturday at 5:30.
Line-up will begin at 4:00 with the same parade route as the Banana Festival.
Judging will determine winners for the Best Small, Large and Kiddie float.
Following the parade, the lighting of the Christmas tree will begin will take place in Pontotoc Park.
The City of Kenton will hold their Christmas parade Saturday night at 6:00.
Line-up will begin at 5:00 at the old Plastech Building.
The parade will run to the Kenton gymnasium, where Santa Claus will be available for photos and refreshments will be served.
