Weakley County Schools recently announced their recognition by the Tennessee Department of Education as a TVAAS Level 5 District.
Level five is the highest designation given out and is awarded to schools where students and teachers have outperformed expectations.
Director of Schools Jeff Cupples told Thunderbolt Radio he was proud that the district was awarded this designation.
The level 5 distinction places Weakley County Schools among the top in the state.
