Four small earthquakes were detected in Lake County on Thanksgiving Day.
The Center for Earthquake Research and Information reported the tremors were all in close proximity to each other near Maddie Road, and approximately two-miles north of Ridgely.
The first recorded tremor of 2.1 occurred in the afternoon at 2:33, followed by a 1.7 tremor at 2:36.
A 2.0 earthquake was recorded at 2:40, with a small 1.1 tremor occurring at 5:11.
In the past six months, 25 earthquakes have been recorded near the area of Ridgely with the largest registering 2.5 on October 3rd.
