Bethel and Henry County Receive Historic Development Grants

The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development have announced recipients of Tennessee Historic Development Grants, which includes Henry County and Bethel University.

Henry County will be receiving $500,000 to rehabilitate the county courthouse in Paris, while Bethel will be receiving $196,000 to rehabilitate the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in McKenzie.

The historical grants will provide a total of $6.1 million across Tennessee to renovate and preserve historic buildings.
