Union City High School lineman Kelan Roberson has been selected to play in the annual East-West All-Star Classic.
School Communications Director Mike Hutchens said the 6’4” 320-pound Roberson is the first Union City player selected to play in the game in more than ten years.
Roberson is a four-year starter who anchored an offensive group that gained more than 325 yards and scored more than 39 points per game, while winning the Region 7A championship this season.
Roberson is a two-time All-Region selection who was part of 36 Golden Tornado victories, including six in the state playoffs.
Players were selected for the contest by Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association coaches.
The game will be played at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville on December 14th.
