The UT Martin men’s basketball team faced a 65-53 defeat against the Le Moyne Dolphins on Friday in the Island U Invitational.
The Skyhawks (2-4) won the turnover battle 16 to 12 and held the Dolphins to 35.8 percent shooting, including an 8-of-29 effort from three-point range. However, UT Martin only managed 17 made field goals and three 3-pointers.
Following the conclusion of the Island U Invitational event on Saturday, the duo of Guinyard and Grullon were selected to the nine-man All-Tournament Team.
Guinyard (Ghen-yard) averaged 14.5 points and 3.5 rebounds while Grullon (Gru-yone) tossed in 13.0 points with 4.0 rebounds per outing during the two-day event.
UT Martin returns to action tomorrow when they travel to No. 9 Tennessee. The game begins at 3. Broadcast will be on WCMT.
