The Hickman Police Department has started a toy drive to assist less fortunate children.
Police Chief Ryan Amberg told Thunderbolt News about their “Giving Tree” initiative to make the holidays better for children.(AUDIO)
Chief Amberg said all new toy donations would be greatly appreciated.(AUDIO)
Chief Amberg said he would be working with officials at the Fulton County School System to select recipients for the donated toys.
The Chief said he hopes to see the Christmas project grow to eventually include a shopping day with select children.
