A Union City woman faces a date in Obion County General Sessions Court after altering prices on items at Walmart.
Union City police charged 36 year old Pracilla Hope Preuett with shoplifting.
The charges were issued after store security personnel discovered Ms. Preuett had swapped barcodes on various makeup items.
The police report stated the lower priced barcodes allowed Ms. Preuett to pay $5.32 for makeup valued at approximately $103 dollars.
During the investigation, Ms. Preuett admitted to swapping the stickers.
Along with the shoplifting charge was a barred notice from all Walmart locations.
