Two People, Including Small Child, Killed in Motor Vehicle Accident in Obion County

Tennessee Highway Patrol reports say two people, which included a small child, were killed in a motor vehicle accident Friday morning in Obion County.

Highway Patrol reports say a 2011 Ford F-150 truck operated by 83 year old Glenn Williams was traveling south on Red McCorkle Road, when it collided with a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze operated by 21 year old Natalie Johnson.

Reports said Ms. Johnson and a one year old passenger were killed in the crash.

Also injured in the Chevrolet Cruze was 19 year old Matthew Johnson, along with a 17 and six year old passenger.

The Highway Patrol report said Williams was also injured.

Williams and Johnson were both wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

Multiple air ambulance helicopters were called to the scene following today’s crash.

Highway Patrol officials say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
