A student at Dresden High School will be facing legal and disciplinary actions after having a BB gun on school grounds.
Weakley County Schools announced that the incident happened on Tuesday after school. A student reported that another student was claiming to have a gun.
Principal Scott Killebrew was notified and the BB gun was found in the student’s vehicle.
The Weakley County Sheriff’s Department says charges will be filed for possession of a weapon at school.
