The Union City school board has a new serving member.
Linda Graham has taken the seat formerly held by Dr. Wright Jernigan, who recently stepped down.
During Monday’s meeting, Ms. Graham was welcomed by board members Curtis McLendon and Chairman Cathy Waggoner.
Director of Schools Wes Kennedy told Thunderbolt News that Ms. Graham was the right person to fill the seat.(AUDIO)
During her 38 years with the Union City School System, Ms. Graham worked in kindergarten, middle school, high school and the school board office.
