The Martin Public Works Department has closed Gardner Hynds Road near North Lindell Street in Martin to install a new sewer line.
Public Works Director Randal Winston says the current sewer line in that area runs in the area has an issue, but crews cannot reach it because it is underneath residences.
Director Winston says they plan on having the road re-opened by the end of the day.
