The Obion County Fair has a new board President.
During the Obion County Fair Association meeting this month, members selected Blake Laws, of Union City, to lead the long running event.
Laws served this past year as the fair 1st Vice-President, and is also serving as the President of the Tennessee Association of Fairs.
Following his appointment, Laws told Thunderbolt News about the lead role and his years of service to the local fair.(AUDIO)

The annual Obion County Fair takes place each year in August at the Fairgrounds in Union City.
