Union City police were called to investigate the passing of counterfeit money.
Police reports said an officer was dispatched to Save-A-Lot, on Nailing Drive, after a store employee was notified of two bogus one-hundred dollar bills following a bank deposit.
The employee told police that video showed an individual passing the counterfeit money on two occasions.
The unidentified individual made small purchases on both trips, and received a total of almost $183 in change.
Once identified, police reports said warrants will be obtained.
