Westview softball outfielder and pitcher McCall Sims has announced her commitment to play at Tennessee.
Sims helped lead Westview to the TSSAA class AA softball championship in May, where they defeated Forrest High School 13-5.
In the state championship Sims hit two grand slams, setting a state record, while pitching 4.5 innings, allowing five runs, and recording five strikeouts.
Sims finished her senior year with a .478 batting average, 13 home runs, and 55 RBIs
Aside from softball, Sims also helped lead the Lady Chargers basketball team to the 2022 and 23 Class 2A State Championships as a guard.
Sims will be signing her National Letter of Intent to play at Tennessee tomorrow at Westview.
