Red Devils Break Long Playoff Drought With Win on Friday Night

The South Fulton Red Devils broke a long playoff drought with a win Friday night over Memphis Westwood.

Coach Eric Knott’s squad ran their record to (9-2) with a 48-14 win over the Longhorns.

The Class-A playoff win was the first for South Fulton since 2009, and ended an eight game playoff losing streak.

Friday night’s game at Red Devil Field was also the first football playoff game at home since 2010.

South Fulton moves on to Round 2 on Friday night, and will travel to take on Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering at 7:00.
