Legendary Tennessee Vols announcer Bob Kesling has announced that he will be retiring after the upcoming men’s basketball season.
Kesling’s career stretches over five decades, marking him a pillar of the Vol Network. His dedication and experience have made him the longest-serving member in the organization’s storied history.
Kesling received the prestigious honor of being inducted into the Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame this past summer. He is a four-time recipient of the “Sportscaster of the Year” award for the state of Tennessee.
Thunderbolt Radio President Paul Tinkle and long time friend of Kesling had a hand on nominating him to the Radio Hall of Fame.
