The UT Martin women open their season tonight against North Alabama in the Elam Center at 5:30 with tip off at 6 at home.
North Alabama won last year 70 to 63 at UNA. UT Martin is 28-27 all-time in season openers.
Coach Kevin McMillan begins his 16th season and has been OVC “Coach of the Year” in 2010, 12, 15, 16 and 2021.
His 281 victories rank third highest in OVC history and nine post season appearances.
That includes 10 OVC titles, six regular season titles and four tournament crowns. He has taken five teams to the NCAA including this past season.
The Skyhawks will return four starters In addition to 2023-24 All-OVC first teamers Anaya Brown and Kenley McCarn, Shae Littleford and Lexi Rubel .
