Bethel University is celebrating homecoming this weekend.
University President Perry Moulds told Thunderbolt Radio about the celebrations and a special event being held Saturday.
Former school president Dr. Walter Butler retired from his position in December. He began working at Bethel in 1975 as an admissions counselor. He served as President for 10 years.
Dr. Butler says he is honored to have the stadium renamed after him.
Saturday’s events will also feature a parade beginning at 9:30 and a tailgate featuring multiple vendors starting at 11 in front of the stadium.
