A Dresden woman has been arrested on charges of employee theft from the Casey’s General Store in Union City.
Union City police reports said 34 year old Ashley Rippy was issued felony charges of theft over $1,000, possession of schedule four drugs, along with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Police reports said the charges were issued after Ms. Rippy admitted to the store General Manager of stealing approximately $2,036 in cash.
The theft occurred from late September until the 23rd of this month and also included stolen lottery tickets.
